Did You Hear the Splash?
It is always great to have boats back in the water. Abbey Road was launched on Wednesday and is the first boat back in her slip for the 2009 season. We are going to start our full launch schedule on Monday April 27th. Click Here to see our spring launch sequence schedule - it is set up on a Week 1 – Week 4 or later basis. There is no order to the list, just that we intend (if all goes well) to launch the indicated boats sometime during the indicated week. No launches are scheduled for Saturday or Sunday. The next 30 days is the most hectic time of the entire season as we push to have as many boats as possible in the water by Memorial Day. For those who would like to be here for their launch we will try to accommodate you on a Monday or Friday if that is of help to your schedule. Just be aware that we can only launch so many boats in a day and in most cases have to launch boats by their storage position. We will notify you by e-mail when your boat has been launched. If you boat is not ready for launch via the indicated week and we have to move it to get to other boats there will be a fee to pick up the boat and move it to a different location.
BANG-BANG-BANG - What Is All of that Noise?
The Outer Island arrived at the PBM this week and is in the process of repairing spud poles and pilings and is going to do a little dredging. The ice damage from this last winter was classified as Typical with no major issues. All work should be completed in time for next weeks launch schedule.
Last Chance - Get Your Ship Together
We had a great group for our first Get Your Ship Together Work Weekend – even with the bad weather lots of work was accomplished with boats being waxed, cleaned or repaired in preparation for launch. As a reminder this weekend April 25 -26, 2009 is our last organized work weekend. Don’t forget lunch will be served at noon on Saturday.
